The “miracle plant” online – Truth, myth and what science says

Introduction:

In the age of the internet, information travels faster than ever before, and some can go viral in a matter of hours. One of the most common types of content is spectacular claims about “miracle” plants that can cure serious illnesses in a remarkably short time.

One such claim claims that “a plant kills cancer cells in just 48 hours and is 100 times more effective than chemotherapy.” Such a statement is extremely powerful and naturally raises the attention and hope of many people.

However, from a medical and  scientific perspective, such claims should be analyzed with great caution. Cancer is a complex group of diseases, the treatments for which are the result of decades of research, clinical trials, and rigorous testing.

Science

Currently, there is no proven effective plant or natural substance that would completely destroy cancer cells in the human body within 48 hours and replace standard oncology treatments.
