Your prostate may be trying to warn you: warning signs that men over 40 should never ignore!

Many men notice small changes in their daily lives and end up ignoring them. What may seem like a simple effect of aging can actually be a subtle sign that the prostate needs attention. Changes in urination habits, sleep disturbances, or mild discomfort may be signs that it’s time to take better care of this vital gland. After the age of 40, prostate health deserves special attention.

What is the prostate and why is it important?

Men’s health

The prostate is a small gland located below the bladder, surrounding the urethra. It contributes to the production of seminal fluid and plays an essential role in  male  reproductive and urinary health.

It is common for the prostate to naturally enlarge as we age, a condition called benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). This enlargement can affect urination and quality of life.
